You Are The Hope That Leads Me Out Of The Dark..

Almost let the cold and and bitterness that is outside overwhelm me today. And then I remembered..

Happiness is already there, wherever you are, whatever is happening..just feel it and accept it..

I think I'm going to buy Brandon Heath's new album today..new music needed? Check!

Bittersweet..

At this moment, I am watching one of my favorite, if not my favorite, movies, Pride & Prejudice, the one with Keira Knightly. It is such a visually pleasing movie, not to mention the amazing music. It always makes me feel the hope of Spring, that I know is imminent. Even though it is mid-January, and mid-winter, I have and hold the hope of Spring. This part of the movie depicts that for me..

She is spinning around on a swing, as the seasons go by, while The Secret Life of Daydreams plays..

Started a new painting :)

Every Seed Dies Before It Grows..

This is exactly how I feel right now..and how I felt at 4pm today. I have begun a smallish art teaching job that will last another few weeks. It's amazing how little time tasks take when you want them to take forever. The woman I am substituting for has made the job too easy for me..so I find myself reading, doodling, and visiting pintrest.com during the day. I should visit my artwork as well during the free time..hmm..

What a day filled with no energy..I blame it on the time of year and what I've been doing lately, a.k.a. working.

Oh dear, I'm usually more chipper. Maybe it isn't good to write blog entries on a headache and empty pep.

Welcome Back, Winter, Once Again

Hello, December..I can now officially listen to Christmas music and other wintery themed songs, such as Owl City's 'The Tip of the Iceberg'. Our Christmas tree went up today..I must say, we come up with some pretty great themes for beauteous trees. Haven't really delved into the Christmas movies yet......there's still time, and I will share all of my favorites with you!

In other news, I've been babysitting a wonderful little girl, who is only 10 months old, but can walk already..I only take care of her for four hours at a time, but it certainly takes some energy out of me..some? I mean, a lot.

Isn't she a sweetheart? Who knew I'd be taking care of my old high school art teacher's daughter..

Christmasy stuff coming soon..

Everything Is Shipshore..

I think I may have discovered something that may be my new favorite thing:

I don't really get how I get 'invited'..but as long as I get to see the pretty pictures and discover where they come from and can save the pictures to my computer..I'm game.

Cause If You're Not Laughing, Who Is Laughing Now?

Between having a flat tire last week and getting a new one, having to replace my glasses' lenses twice so far, the 'conveniences' of life haven't been so kind to me lately. One note: Don't buy glasses from Wal-Mart..my lenses have been getting spots on them/in them that are impossible to remove. We'll see how this pair lasts..

In happiness, I visited a pumpkin patch and went trick-or-treating with my nephew..here are the rather enjoyable pictures:

There he is, my little Pooh..

I hide leaves in magazines and books (so they can dry flat)..I found this one in a magazine..

Those big, pale orange ones in the front are my new favorite pumpkins..

But I can't forget about the beauty of a classic pumpkin..
